About the story

I haven’t seen the sun for sixteen days, give or take; that’s how long we’ve been down here. Everything smells like dirt; even the food. The air is thick with it. No one seems to mind, except me. To me it’s an early hell. I don’t get it. I never got it. What do we have to be afraid of?
